Although originally from Europe, I am off grid in Brazil. Huge country, a lot of nice places away from city noise but sufficiently close at the same time, secluded, private, beautiful, own spring water and waterfalls, good climate, fascinating views, you name it. Size of the property is the key, if I have tens of hectares around me, nobody bothers me. A real paradise. Oh, BTW, NO earthquakes, NO volcanoes )).
